Habitat for Humanity Las Varas - Charles & Serge’s Photos

Las Varas, Nayarit, Mexico – 2013. These photos were provided by Charles and Serge Pesant who were members of a Habitat for Humanity Mexico project in a small Town called Las Varas which is located in the state of Nayarit, about 100km north of Puerto Vallarta. We worked on two houses, starting with excavating for the foundations, laying the foundations and building walls out of brick. During and after the build various team members visited a number of nearby locations including Chacala (where we stayed during the Habitat build), Capomo and the indigenous Wixárika Huichol village of Zapote Picachos.
